Upward™ is an evangelistic sports ministry dedicated to promoting community outreach, developing volunteer leadership, and sharing the love of Christ with children and their families.
Specifically designed for K-5 through 8th grade boys and girls, Upward sports ministries seek to develop the self-esteem of each participant, while teaching sportsmanship, character, athletic skills, and respect for authority in every situation.
Upward promotes character and self-esteem in every child by providing:
- Equal playing time for every player
- Separate leagues for boys and girls
- A one-hour practice and game each week of the season
- An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity for improvement
- And much more!
Every player will receive:
- Reversible Upward Basketball jersey
- Upward Basketball t-shirt
- Individual awards after each practice and game
- An end of the year award
